any bc rich experts in the house?

there's a guitar in a local store with green and black finish, strat/superstrat style, 3 toggle switches which do some effect type things, 2 singlecoils, one humbucker, floyd rose, rosewood neck, made in 1989. he said it was usa made, and was selling it for £470. any thoughts? i'll try to find some pics.

USA BC Rich's had both bolt on and neck through designs. It sounds like an Assassin or ST to me, a nice guitar. You can tell where it was made through the serial number. I'm not positive on it but the US models all start with numbers, the first two are the year they were made up to around '88, then production outpaced serial numbers and you can find 90xxx and 91xxx serials made in the late 80's.

sounds like an STIII to me. not sure what the going rate on those is, though.
