Channel 2+ with very low output pickups and a healthy dose of mids to get some of that marshall snarl gets you pretty close actually, you would think the - mode but nah. I'll see if I can borrow my buddies les paul, he's got some pretty low output pickups, I can do a pretty good impression of panama . Can't get to it till I go back to my other friend's studio though, I have no recording gear.


Edit: Just so ya know, it's WAY easier to cop a Ratt tone out of the Herbie , I play Lay It Down everytime I hop on it haha.

i get some good vh tones out of the herbert. and i have to disagree i hear GREAT vh tones out of his 5153 i have a vid hear to see for yourself. the guitar is tuned a whole step down with 9's on it so thats why im an out of tune mess, it wasnt my guitar, here is the clip judge for yourself.
