So is the CCV any closer to going into production or what?

Hey,

Spoke with Chris and Mark a few days ago and they are in the process of getting the cabinets, headshells ,chasis, and components from Marks shop in LA to start production here in NJ.... getting closer!

I believe Mark will be staying in LA for the time being. Chris Schmidt is assembling a production team as we speak...

Sounds kinda scattered and unorganized to me. Why would Mark be staying in LA if they are ramping up for production in NJ???

Bro, thanks so much. You truly have your finger on the pulse of what's shappening. Ever since you started working for them its been much better.

 Well lets' see if we can shed some light here. Mark will be staying in Cali. since they will have assembly techs ORGANIZED in a TEAM, Just like Bogner has, that will free Mark up to do any R@D he can just like Reinhold does for himself. Makes total sense and in the event it becomes worthwhile from a business sense first and then maybe a personal sense second Mark will have the option he already has which is to, Come on over to the other coast.     Biggest thing here is they are gonna be smart and utilize the resources they had on hand or readily available to unstick a large wheel and make it roll, so to speak. Nick will be a good asset for them in a greater capacity from this coast at a much more convienant site. Obviously that being Jersey. Give it just a tick and let's us all see how it goes. ;)

Assembly is one thing but making sure an amp is burned in properly and running to spec and SOUNDING right is not something anyone can do. Sorry but I totally disagree. I think that he should most certainly be there overseeing production. Otherwise something can EASILY get lost in the "translation"

  By the way... how do those ejection seats sound??

I agree to disagree friend, but that's ok ... not everyone can see eye to eye. Chris Schmidt and I will be helping out on the burn in and R&D part. Chris knows these amps as do I, along with the assembly team. Chris is very experienced and is more than capable and i am an experienced audio engineer, tech and guitar player that knows tone. I have owned my ccv for quite a while and know what they should sound and feel like. This has been discussed, and Mark will be out to make sure things are great additionally.

Nothing is going to get lost in translation because there will be subtitles to go along with the assembly instructions. There will be a big tele-prompter above the assembly line hooked up to babblefish, it will spit out the correct instructions after Cameronese is translated. Mark will be overseeing the production via a video feed. It will all work fine.

"Should I bring cash to the NY amp show?"

:hys: You're a funny guy. You may want to bring some cash to buy a hot dog or a coke or something. The Cameron might be a tall order.
