Any hope for a rack mountable CCV or CCM design?

Just thought I'd throw it out there. ;)

I've been using a Mesa 'ractifier' I stumbled upon used in Sam Ash as my main live set up. When I found it, it just had come in that day. The stupids sold it to me for $699

It's a little noisy, but it sounds pretty much perfect for what I play. Overall I just find it completely convenient for load-in/out, a stage space saver, and it's nice to have a completely enclosed set-up that I don't have to rip apart and set up every time we have a show. There's no room for the classic 'WTF is going on? Everything is plugged totally right?!?' part of the evening 5 minutes before set time.

So, how bout it Mark? How would a rack mountable Cameron sound to ya? More importantly, how would that sound to all of you?

I'm not trying to stir the pot, but I think that would actually have to be able to produce the regular amps before even thinking about expanding the product line.

It could be possible, but a lot of the Cameron's tone comes from the power section….so just having a preamp would not give you enough...

So true....

It would be very cool to have my CCV in a rackmount version.

hey dave

ask a favor ?

record the preamp out direct into the board and post it please :D

I've would love to have a comparison of the tone of a "naked" cameron preamp to the preamp of my splawned 800
