Now that I think of it, I've owned them all too-at least Egnater versions. I do wish I still had the MHG. For some reason I really liked the vibe that module had.

Anyway, having owned them all just means that Egnater and Co need to come out with some new ones!

Recently getting a Twin was great - such a good module

I would love a dual version of Randall's Mr Scary though - great sound
Maybe I could convert my second EG3/4 or MHG into that

1. The VX is awesome. That was part of my initial four modules. I still love it for cleans, a lot!

2. Having owned and liked Mr. Scary, the SL2X does everything Mr. Scary does, and does it better.

I have a DF Modded ERect right alongside my modded Mr Scary and the ERect can cop that tone..but the ERect is a little thicker sounding....not bigger in the bottom (they basically have the same values in the first part of the circuit I think.)

My Mr Scary was modded for a little more gain and I think it affects the high end a little too..not quite so open.

SO does the SL2X sound like a big, bitey high gain Marshall or a Soldano? (I guess that's kind of similar anyway...)

Thanks for your testimony, now it's easier than ever to sell my Mr. Scary. But I agree.

Well, besides the rare ones like TV and DD, Ive had them all except SL and EG3/4. I can get my mid gain fix with BMan channel B or SL2/SL2X channel A when rolling back the gain so I never needed SL. As for EG3/4. I just never liked it. Too dark, too smooth.

I haven't owned or played the BMAN, SL, SL2X, MGH....yet!

I also haven't played the T/D since I have the D/D and love it, it hasn't given me much gas for the a T/D. I also haven't owned or tried a T/V because i have a VX which is one of my favorite modules.

I like the T side better,Cleaner. The Dlx breaks up nicely though.
I haven't had the MHG, TT, DD,TV SL2X <---shipping the SL2 for the mod.
