Ive got my CCV on order and I want to buy a cab too. Just wanted to know how the speakers sound matched up with the head? Thank you for any info.

I have the new Cameron cab with the Scumback M75/J75 mix. Sounds pretty good with a borrowed Soldano Hot Rod. Also have a CCV on order.
You are probably wondering about the G12H30's which I don't have. According to Brad the CCV sounds pretty killer through the Scumbacks.

I was told my cab would probably ship around the same time as my CCV. Cabs are done but they are waiting for the logo plates. I don't think anyone has the new production cab yet.

Cool. I just wanted to make sure before I sell my cab because I like what I have but then who knows if what I have will be a good match for the CCV. I'm going to get the cab also.

I do seriously have the new cab...it was Brad's and has scumbacks....I just recently got it from him.
I know the standard cab has the G12H30s but mine has M&J75 Scumbacks...He had it loaded earlier this year when he got into the Cameron revamp.
It's brand new and sounds pretty good. He only had one with these speakers and sold it to me in April/May of this year.

I can tell you that most of the CCV old timers swear by the cab.

What dust covers did you get on the scumbacks?

Just have the regular 65w m75 and j75. Not the lhdc models. I love the thick sound from the m75s the j75 gives just a touch more highs. Awesome. Can't wait to hear it with the ccv

Glad to hear you're digging the cab with the M/J mix in it!

Thanks Jim,
What's not to like...it's got the M75 mids with a touch more highs and lows like you say....still not as bright as the M/H mix I used to have, very very close to all M's.
Nice little Scumback logo on the grille too! You must have done that.

Pretty sure that's the cab Brad brought to me to get dialed in last January while he was here for NAMM. Had to replace some bad T-nuts and screws, then rewire it correctly.

When Brad was here he tried my 71 Super Lead with an M/J stack (yep, two 4x12's at once), couldn't make up his mind and said to put in the M75/J75 mix....and put a logo on it, or he'd be back to thump me. :gethim:

So I said..."Oh...ok...you big meanie."

Glad to hear you're digging it.
