I know, I know...behringer...wtf...HOWEVER, I have found over the past week or so without my ns-2 that the ns-2 is an integral part of getting MY sound with my 6505. It adds some brightness to it that I cant get out of just the amp. I was under the impression that the behringer pedal is an ns-2 copy. If this is the case, that shit is only like 30 bucks shipped new, compared to twice that for a used ns-2. Any one have any experience with this? I could be way off here, but I really NEED the ns-2 (or a copy of it) to get the sound that I have become accustomed to out of my 6505...If necessary, Ill just get another ns-2...

ALSO, the 6505 isnt leaving my house...thats what I bought the JSX for. I also got a g-string for the JSX, and if I get the behringer pedal, it will not be leaving the house either...

So why did you get rid of the NS-2 then? I never used the behringer, but if you were running the NS-2 in front of the amp (or via the 4 cable method) and it was your only buffered effect, maybe it was the brightening effect of the buffer that you were hearing.

The ns-2 died on me...Otherwise, I wouldnt be considering this. I was just running it up front, and it was the only pedal I was running. Im currently just plugging straight in...

Do you have any other buffered pedals kicking around?

No. I have a decimator g-string coming in...dunno if its buffered...other than that, Im not a pedal user...

I also suspect the buffer is what you are missing, the low impedance output which the decimator will provide. just use the decimator when you get it.

I see. I will give this a shot when it gets here.
