I've got a little money to burn and keep coming back to the C66. Just wondering if anybody has one and what your thoughts were in terms of build quality, etc

they look like andersons to me. if they're even close as far as tone and construction, seems like a pretty good deal.

The build quality and feel of the Carvin neck-thru's I've owned was great. I haven't played this particular model, though.

Some people complain about Carvin p/ups but that's a very personal thing.

Just $0.02 and IMO, obviously! :)

I've got one. It's a great, great guitar. I just put some Dimarzio Evolutions in it but the Carvin C22B pickups that came with it are also very good. They're top shelf instruments.

I have a Bolt Plus wich is really just a plain body C66. I like it. I originally had the M22 pickups in it but swapped them out for a JB/Jazz set.

that's gorgeous. What wood did you pick for the body?

I know i'm going to end up ripping the pickups out and putting something else in. Thanks for the help

I had this one, couple of things I didn't like about it and sent it back. Birdseye fretboard not the entire neck was one. They must of dug it because it's in their latest catalog showing the C66
Got a Music Man Axis in it's place
