I recently picked up an Egnater GC 412 cabinet. I want to modify the speakers/cab to include the tone bras. Can anybody provide a few pictures on how the tone bras are installed in their cab. I know mine won't be exactly the same since this is a GC cab but any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Mike

There's an nut embedded in a hole in the cross piece support for the grille cloth..it sits dead centre with the cone....the bra is then attached with a washer and a regular threaded screw.

Hey Mike,How do you like the 412 GC cab,I'd show some pics of the tone bras but "ahem" my 112 somehow doesn't have one :D Not like I am missing it cause it sounds BADASS as is!!!!

It's pretty nice but a touch bright for my ears (Celestion vintage 30's installed I believe). I'm told that I could wait a while why it breaks in or install the tone bra. Frank is hooking me up so I'm going to give it a shot. I just have to figure out how to make them work in this cab. I'm still on the list for a Mod 50/112 but the deal that came by was just to good to pass. I guess I'll just have two cabinets now.

You could skip the list and grabbed my MOD50/2x12 ;)

PM me your email address and I'll send pics of the bras installed.

If you have your heart set on a 1x12 and are the impatient type, I have one for sale. :D
