Anybody using old/NOS/ANOS tubes in their modules?

I just looked through my collection of salvaged preamp tubes from the electronics warehouse.

I have some various RCA's and GE's.

I also have a NOS NEC 12AD7 that is supposed to be a killer 12ax7 substitute.

I'm thinking the VX or SL module would be pretty cool with these.

Any thoughts/experiences?

Been using a JAN GE 5751 in V1 of the SL module and it is keeper there. Adds a vintage vibe to that module but still has enough gain on the B channel.
Haven't had any RCA's.
Try them out. You may be surprised at the difference. The biggest impact on the tone will be in V1.

I really liked RFT's in V1 of the Marshallish modules when I was doing the Eggy thing.
