I'm unsure whether it's deliberately designed to do this but as we know, flipping the mode switch on ch1 affects ch2. I'm finding I like it in mode 2 most of the time, mode 3 for shreddy stuff - more compression, slightly easier to play - and mode 1 for Timmonsy type stuff with my Strat where it feels a little more open.
Anyone else using it this way or just me?
I think it's great, intentional or not, as when I MIDI this rig up, I can have 3 slightly different feeling lead tones for different things - almost like having a built in slight boost/compressor - plus the 3 tones on Ch1 with the mod. Killer.
