Not me, but yous guys have fun.

My IROC-Z is in the shop. :)

I'll be there Matt   in spirit,my ears are still ringing from Angus and Malcom last Saturday!!!!

I would but ya know I got to get my present from my wife! I mean my kids! Don't forget to tell the boys at the meet and greet that we did an amazing job with their tones!

Absolutely the most monstrous tone Ive ever heard in my life. I dont know what module Ty used on "What is This?" but it was outrageous. Gretchen I guess? That tune was a great surprise too! Anyway, I took some phone pics Ill post tomorrow (later today)

I wish they would come to Sweden soon so I can experience their new awesome Eggie-tone!!!

Can't wait to see the pics!!!

I'm assuming he used the "gretchen" module on that, with whatever clean module he's using.

Have you had any more discussions w/ Ty on releasing that module? If not, that's cool and I understand. Such a great tone.

Not till they get back from Europe and then settle back into life. Then we are going to have discussions about it.

Well...the start and end i know do sound quite different ;). I loved his tone when I saw him in Dallas. Makes me hope that Ty will be open to doing something custom w/ the Eggie guys to sell. I know there's about 10 people on this forum that would buy one right now ;).

Based on what I heard last night I would have to have one. Blew my mind.

They had a fantastic mix last night and I could hear it loud and clear. When I saw them with Extreme in Baltimore, the guitars were buried and I only heard out of the cabs because I was close.

At Dallas I stood right next to the sound guy, who had the mix kicking some major ass. Probably was one of the best live mixes I've heard in a LONG LONG LONG LONG time. It was absolutely thunderous. Extreme, sounded like little mouses farting allover the place. They were one of the worst live bands I've seen ..... ever!!! And, that's coming from a big Nuno Bettencourt fan....well i used to be at least ;).

First of all....I hate you all... I guess I'll never see those guys live...
I think the stock COD really reminds me of that classic "Gretchten" tone...I think you also just need the elite strat and Ty's touch. However, I also think the most important part of King's X sound comes from Doug's bass...combided with "youknowwhat".

saw them w/extreme and also on the 15th(headlined). hands down their sound was better than extreme or living colour at the aug 1st show and they were even better at their dec show. I couldn't see all Ty's stuff because he had his rack turned to the side but it looked to me like he had 2 eg3/4, he used 1 mod more than the others but it looked to me that he used 3 of his four mods and alot of volume and tone adjustments I couldn't tell what effect unit he used but he didn't change the effects that much when he did he had a behringer midi controller to do it. I talked to the guys after the show seriously cool guys.
I can't see how Ty's mods can get any better but can't wait to hear it.
