Anyone have a 16 ohm EVM12L?

I scored a new in the box 16 ohm EVM12L a month ago. Even though it is factory labeled as 16 ohms, my meter reads only 5.3 which is much more consistent with my 8 ohm EVM Black Labels which read 5.6. If you have a 16 ohm EVM12L - you might want to check 'em. I have contacted EV and await their response.

 
I have one I won at a George Lynch clinic.
Never checked the ohms put it in a 5153 1/12 cab .
 
I talked to AJ at ElectroVoice tech support. I learned some new stuff today. Using a MM to read a speaker like that only gives you the DC resistance of the voice coil. They sweep a sine wave and get an impedance based on averages at various frequencies - so perhaps it is indeed a "16 ohm" speaker.

Still kinda weird to me that all of my other 16 ohm Celestion and Fane speakers actually read around 13-14 ohms though when tested in this manner.
