Anyone Heard of Santa Cruz (Band)?

Gotta admit...I've been looking for some new rocking bands. I'd never heard them before and really like what I hear! Modern sounding recording and riffs with just the right amount of melodic (80s) and the guitar players can tear it up. I haven't loved everything yet (some of it is cheesy) but I really like it!

Unfortunately yes and they suck ass.

Their first 2 cds kick ass. I'm a fan of those. Unfortunately the singer had some personal problems and everyone else in the band jumped ship. The singer decided to move forward with a new band and it just isnt anywhere near as good. So that's where I lost interest. It's too bad because I feel they had something really special. Kick ass rock and roll with killer guitar solos and nice hooks in the songs. Even Sebastian Bach was a huge supporter of the band at one point. It's too bad some bands just fall apart too soon.

Agreed about band politics. Hopefully they can all pull it together. Some good guitar players in the band:

I think their 15 seconds have passed, but they had some good stuff right up until they imploded.

I’m not sure I dig their songs ever. I’ve tried. But the singer and guitarist can shred. Saw a “betcha can’t play this” vid where they shred o we a backing track. It was damn jammin
