I find it entertaining and funny to watch chicken pickin videos and now have the sudden urge to chicken pickin for fun :D Any advice or books to pick up to try and learn it? Something about it makes it look very fun to play

I've been throwing the occasional chicken-picking in to my playing lately. It's a great way to cross strings quickly and throw in harmonies that you might not normally think of. I just need to keep practicing it. :thumbsup:
 
checkout Brent Mason, and Jimmy Oleander. They are 2 of the biggest names here in Nashville.

Was watching some Johnny Hiland vids on youtube, that dude is nuts!
 
I've been working on Chickin' Pickin lately, and it's very fun! Cool stuff, for sure. I'll check those videos out tomorrow.
 
albert lee, danny gatton, and brad paisley deserve to be there next to brent mason and jimmy olander. old school flavor would be some jerry reed also check the hellecasters for some tele torture.
