I was just using one of his Axe presets and wandered over to his YT and found out he's apparently been diagnosed with Parkinsons?!

Back in the day when the original run of BE-100's and Naked's came out, he was always there to answer questions. I also loved watching his cover vids, still do fwiw.

Incredible player all around. Just curious if anyone here is still in touch?

I believe so.. just a lot less playing & demoing these days, due to his Parkinsons. Seems like he's managing well, as he seems to get out & kayak & shoot a lot of cool wildlife pix.

ok yea i figured he was still at Fractal. I bought the FM3 not too long ago and was surprised to see a Mark Day Recto patch tucked in at the end of the pre-loaded patch list.

Its absolutely killer and was trying to figure out if he had moved on to using Rectifiers or something. Thats when i stumbled upon the Parkinsons news.

Years ago I talked to Mark for awhile about FRFR. He is such an awesome guy and a super talented player.

Guy always had killer tone. I always got a kick out of how he's this regular dad-looking dude with a goofy dad sense of humor but put a guitar in his hands and he always got the meanest scorching tones out of them.
