papa, I went through some numbers and I can't buy the Schmidt without selling/trading the VH4 :(

I wish I could, but I can't my friend.

can you trade me one?! :D a used one at least

  :bash: :dunno: :worship: :salute: ;) :D :2thumbsup:

Don't mind me, I'm just confused, schizo, and generally "bent" from being at my job with the State for so long. But hey, I love watching the moving icons!

You are doing a great job for the people, Stephen

There's a Schmidt for sale at the Atlanta Guitar Center for a good price...

Also, what was "updated" to "current specs" on your VH4? Mine is a 2005 model. In what way are the new ones different?

2007 + have:

-a hair tighter
-more gain (for example, in a 2007 - model you'd need to crank the gain up to 4:00 or something to get a metal tone out of the amp, on the 2007+ it's easily achivable with the gain knob around 1:00). Also channel 2 has way more gain on the 2007+ models (for example, gain cranked will do 80s hair metal with easy, whereas in a 2007- it's imposible)

somethings like that.

but as PEter says.........if you're happy with your 2005, why change it right?! :D
