anyone know what an EG5 sounds with EL34's

we have different (youth bands using the mod 50)

Classic Rock and Metal
I am thinking of using an EG5 to swap to quickly however the mod 50 will still have El34's in it.
no time to change tubes in between sets.
Anyone know how that will sound?

REALLY good.

Actually, as much as I love my 6550 big bottles for everything else, I really like the subdued high-high-end of EL34's for the roaring/blazing EG5. My Rivera power amps tame the high-end a bit, and take me straight to Warren DiMartini land wherever I go with an EG5.
