I just scored this 1984-86 Carvin V220 for stupid-cheap

I have the white version of that V220, with the block inlays and Kahler. It weighs a shit ton, but it really sounds good. They are solid guitars that scream 80s guitar magazine! Hell, I just remembered I also have a black one like the OP's guitar...got it right before I located and bought this white one. I put the black one away and haven't opened the case in probably 15 years. I should sell it...

Interested if you do sell the black one.

Got a few recent Jackson models, Warriors and Rhoads; still have my old Chuck Schuldiner BC Rich Stealth; had a few pointies back in the day.

Cheers!

Hell yeah! Awesome guitar. I have two 80s Carvins, but they are more standard shapes, but with the jackson-style pointy headstock they only did 88-89.

Used to have a candy apple red Ironbird bass, NJ series. Pretty sure it had gold hardware. Had crazy neck dive. Those were the days..
