I've been looking at the IC420 with the antique blue metallic finish recently and thinking about getting one. No stores have one in stock for me to try. Anybody have a chance to check one out? What's the build quality like? Does it play well? How do the new Super 80 pickups compare to the old Flying Fingers?

I have two PS60; one PS120 and one PS10. Unless you really don't like the look or Paul Stanley association, I think the PS120 is a better option. Much better than the PS60, and difficult to notice much difference with the PS10 which is a MIJ Prestige at 3x the price of the PS120.

If the PS120 came in other colors besides black I may be more tempted by one. The blue color and Super 80 pickups is what caught my attention on the IC420.

Keep us posted. I have had iceman gas for a while

I've always loved Iceman guitars. An IC300 was the first real guitar I bought back in '95 and was my main guitar for several decades.

Just to add more gas to enable your fire LOL!
My group of Icemans. I was able to acquire 2 of each from 1994 when they were first rereleased; including the IC350 that has the floyd trem. The others are ones I refinished or built.
And an Iceman inspired bass I'm in the middle of building.

Nice, still don't get not putting the input jack on the edge.

I have an original Paul Stanley '79 PS-10 that I've had, well since '79. Paul signed the back for me in '92 and offered to buy it from me. I kept it.
