Anyone using a delay pedal in the Rebel's loop?

I just bought a Rebel head and 112 cab. I want to put together a small pedalboard (already have a tuner, wah, chorus and overdrive) but am planning to add a delay. So...please let me know what you guys are using. Thanks.

I use the Boss DD-20 Giga delay. *Great delay!* The memory function is great. It also has some built in functions like sound on sound that I like. Here's more info on it: http://www.bossus.com/gear/productdetai ... arentId=96.

Any noise/hiss issues? I did a search on the Gear Page and found a huge thread about problems with the loop. However, it seems maybe more recently produced Rebels resolved the problems? I haven't tried anything in mine's loop yet, but I bought the head last week.

I have the 4212- can't speak to the Rebel. No noise issues that I am aware of. The whole amp is a little noisy, but it seems quiet enough to me.

Or did you mean the Boss's looping capability? It does have a primitive looper built in but I don't use it much.

The loop problem was only on about the first 100 amps. The issue was corrected months ago. FYI, the noise problem was the result of us trying to design the loop to work with every effect/pedal out there. Because many pedals have an inherently high noise level, the gain in the loop (on the first ones) was too high and increased the noise. The fix was to simply adjust the loop gain which solved the problem.

I'm using a Boss GT-10 with the 4CM to put time-based fx in the Rebel loop. I have my GT-10 set to -10dB and also needed to set the patch output levels really low. Maybe some people were having problems with too much signal. After I sorted the levels out it sounds pretty d@mn good to me. I also set the reurn level a little low on purpose so I can get a little more range out of the Rebel master knob. Everything seems to work fine with no objectionable noise.

FYI, I have had my Rebel for a month or so. I haven't checked for a build date.

In my Rebel's effects loop I have a Damage Control Glass Nexus and a Boss DD-3. I use the Glass Nexus for shorter delay times, some reverb and various modulation effects. I use the DD-3 for long delay times. No noise issues as long as I keep the Glass Nexus' transformer some distance from the actual unit. The Rebel by itself with these units in the effects loop is very quiet. The only noise I experience is from my effects I run into the front of the amp but I tame that with a noise gate. Now the only "noise" is the low level hum indicating the Rebel is powered up and Ready To Rock! :D
