Wow, wonder who Peyton will blame his 6 picks on this time  .

That game was a real good example of "Starting out on the wrong foot" What a show   I think the problem was the Colts are not use to breathing that smog.

"It was poor quarterback play on my part," Manning said. "I take full responsibility for all of them." (from ESPN.com)

Manning has never struck me as a guy who blames others for his mistakes...

Interestingly...the Colts only had 17 offensive players for the game....several of which were activated that day from the practice squad!!

Even more interestingly - they still should have won - Mr. Clutch Vinateri...missed a 29 yder at the end...

Mr. Clutch Vinateri

I have a feeling he is going to be outside looking in next year.

Great game overall, especially after watching the Bears/Raiders game that was tied a 3-3 forever.

The colts had 3 chances to get points, the field goal at the end of the 1st half 43 yarder I think. The missed 2 point conversion and then the missed 29 yard field goal. Had that kick been from the 6 yard line like it should have been, it would have been good.

Oh well, KC next week....

And manning admitted he screwed up, but I know some of you love to hate him, just like I love to hate the Cowboys....

My bolts got luckey...terrible offensive execution, bad play calling, etc...Rivers and Norv need to go...quickly!

That wasn't smog on the field by the way...Colts are still a dominant team with playing with secon/third stringers. Peyton is still a stud in my book.

I love Peyton and the COlts, but I don't think he'd ever played in the rain before last night. :aww:

yeah I hear you, but considering they typically go "no huddle" for last two seasons and have to shift that because of non starters on the the squad, the guy still displays tremendous leadership and is just deadly in the pocket.

Considering the guy blocking Merriman just got his first NFL paycheck this week, I think they did OK. SD just got hella-lucky with the returns to open up the big lead!

Did you happen to watch the Super Bowl last year? The one where it was raining.

the other manning threw a few picks in his game

Yeah but that's normal for him. He stinks.

I think he's better than RIvers at this point. Most of his int's have come when there's 20 seconds left in the half and he's forcing something. But, a lot of people here in NY/NJ think Eli is just an average QB. Romo has surpassed him, although Romo has better recievers. And Eli makes a lot of stupid mistakes. He had 3 delay of games yesterday, and they played at home.

I sure wish the Giants picked Rosthisburger. Regardless of what you think, most people now look at Ben as the 3rd or 4th best QB in Football. I'm no Steeler fan but they're 7-2, he has good recievers, they can run the ball, and they can play some D. They're the only threat of ruining the Pats unbeaten regular season IMHO.

Yeah i was rooting for the giants yesterday and you're right if they had big Ben I think that they would be on top. Shit We'll ( bolts) will take Big Ben in a heartbeat right now..Rivers displays no confidence, under throws drops fucking snaps for crying out loud and is just not a good leader. I know LT is pissed and frustrated.
