Yeah, but not getting my hopes up TOO much - seems like the modular stuff is going to stay high-end/USA for a while.
Disappointed that the HG series hasn't seen the light of day yet.

Whatever happened to the Detroit 5? Remember that? With the torque knob?

The Detroit 5 was there as was the Renegade HG. Talked to Bruce for a bit. Very cool guy. He said the modular stuff is still a go, maybe later this year. Good news.

There was a lot of Egnater stuff at NAMM. The full line up, in fact! ;)

As for new stuff, I'll put them in two categories:

There was new stuff that was shown at the previous NAMM show but not shipping. You might not consider it "new" but considering it's not been for sale yet, I think that it still qualifies. In this category, the Egnater pedals and Egnater HG series stuff was there. Talking to Bruce, I believe that releases are "imminent" in that they're done, it's just the logistics at this point.

The second category is stuff that we haven't seen at NAMM before. And that would be the Detroit 18 (can go down to 6W and 1W, as well as silent) and Detroit 40 (also reducible, although I don't remember the settings). The feature set of these amps seems absolutely amazing to me. A perfect combination of the home practice to not melt the family's ears and gigable amp. These amps are still a ways out—as you know these dates depend on all the pieces falling into place but Bruce was thinking maybe 5 months or so.

BTW—one of the pieces falling into place is that Bruce noted that they're beginning to bring assembly back to the USA. The Detroit series will be the first to be assembled in Los Angeles.

VERY excited about Egnater products for 2013!

Agreed, Best Egnater news in the last few years

I have to say, a USA-made Tourmaster or TMHG would seriously rock.

Hmmmmm..........am I the only one that sees the Detroit (18 and 40) replacing the Rebel (20 and 30)?

sounds great .and also kudos on the look with the pedal design chrome fronts .classy .
will these do 6l6 or el34???

I like the headphone out and silent mode. When I briefly tried the Rebel 30 I always wondered if you could connect headphones to it but never tried. I also caught that little comment about a new reverb. Maybe the HG series will have it as well? I only think about it because I have a Renegade and the Renegade has had some issues with its reverb.

Bruce ,whats the diff between this on the overdrive channel and the renegade HG are they similar?

What of the modular line is the Detroit most like the SL2X/EG5???

Whoa. Just watched the vid. I'm intrigued......

Launch date?

I was very impressed with the updated renegade, it has that little extra gain the previous one was missing

@ bucksear. No your'e not mate. Although he had a Rebel 30 in the booth I think they've had too many niggly problems with the overseas manufacturing.
Unfortunately it might make these amps too expensive for some.
