Anyone ever try one of these?

Going to Reamp some of my old album into the amplifiers & use this as the ‘preamp’

(Edited to drop a video at the top of the thread)

It provides a gain boost and guitar based EQ choices (that I could absolutely do in studio one) but it's also fun to screw with. I bought it with the idea of layering tube amps into the next album without necessarily double tracking everything (textures and what not).

I'm already grinning ear to ear. Check this out:
