Are sticker guitars still cool?

Were they ever cool?

I have a Jackson DK2M that was my back up gigging guitar many years back, and it has sat in pieces ever since.
I think it’s time to breathe new life in to it. I’m going to wire up some EMG Marty Friedman pickups.
It has the Jackson low profile trem on it which I think is a nice budget Floyd.

Is it time for me to decorate it? It’ll probably be a mix of gear brand stickers and legend of Zelda stickers.

This is what it looked like back in the day, it’s just plain white now

I am not a fan of the christmas wrapping paper design if we are being honest. But that is a cool guitar. Im kind of a jackson guy, see. I want a picture with the gear and zelda stickers. Remind me of the 90s. The 90s kicked ass

I have a dk2….Japanese. Great guitar.
Yea I remember picking it up and a store and instantly loving it.
My then wife (now ex) surprised me with it for my birthday. It’s one of the few things of hers I’ve held on to, mostly because it was in pieces and not worth selling.
But I recently strung it back up and damn if it still isn’t a nice guitar to play.

The pickups are in but I think the EMG quick connects are garbage so I have to rummage through my parts bins to find some stuff

Mine is the hss version. Put a custom 5 and a dimarzio virtual vintage bridge in the neck. Fuckin things rips. Custom 5 was perfect.

it's a genx thing, like removing the finish or painting psychedelic images using nail polish were boomer things.
