Avatar AV speakers……

Don’t know if these are new or not. Looks like a full line including takes on a Vintage 30, G12H30, and G12T-75. Also a 50w and 90w model.

I just ordered the AV60 to try against my Mesa spec V30’s and Eminence CV-75.

I have the m65 and large dust cap version of the f70 they did for a while.

Edit: I see they are definitely not fane models. Looks like they are working with eminence on these....

If avatar can sell speakers they have made by other companies for $99 then why can't everybody else also sell their speakers for $99?

Good bet these speakers are made by the same company who makes Mojotones speakers and WGS.

I can't remember what all my frames look like from eminence. I have some early ones before they changed some anesthetics also but they're all in cabs.

Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but generally speaking were looking at eminence or WGS.

And it still stands, how can avatar sell their relabel speakers for less than the company themselves? Are the speaker companies really getting into the pockets this deeply?

Maybe we have someone new out there…….like when WGS Vet 30’s were like $20 new. But I doubt it. I’ll be sure to report back. FWIW, I’ve owned the Avatar Fane 65’s and their Hellatone 25.

I really like my Avatar F70 I got from them several years ago. It’s replaced my older UK greenback reissues as my first choice. Great midrange and a controlled top end. It’s a natural fizz remover. Works great on recto sounds for me at least. I also have an Alnico 25 of their’s, paired up with a Blue in an Avatar 2x12 and it holds it own well.

I’m actually interested the most in the AV75. If this is something of an improved T75, then I’m interested big time. Thought I would start with the AV60 since I have several V30’s here to compare to. If it’s favorable, then I’ll likely pick up some AV75’s as well.
