Death by Diezel

New member
Me and a friend of mine decided to write a song today. I made a drumtrack and recorded some riffs on top of it while he recorded the solo.

Give it a listen and tell me what you think!

Gear used (by me at least):
Diezel Herbert (all three channels used during the song)
Warmoth HSS Stratocaster with Bare Knuckle pickups.
Exotic BB Preamp.
Eventide Timefactor.
Eventide Modfactor.
Shure SM57
Sennheiser MD421

He used:
MusicMan John Petrucci signature.
GuitarRig 5

Nice tune, good playing, catchy, just a little scratchy on the ear, something in the treble. I like it.

Wow, it sounds even good on laptop speakers. Great tune indeed.

Cheers!

There you go!

This is your Herbert?

Sounds really, really, good.

How was it recorded?

DI or Mic'ed?

I read your first post again.

The Herbie sounds really great and reminds me of why I bought one in the first place.

I have heard another recording like this one where they used the Exotic BB pedal as well so I think it is something I should look into getting.

You should post some more clips (I like your playing style).
