Ok

so I have had the Fractal axe for jsut a little bit, and this thing is amazing!! I am using it direct and it is really really deep. one of the most amazing featues is the ability to load in custom IR cabs, 10 of them, and use them. I am finding that really helps with realism. check out this track one guy got using the Axe, sounds nice and heavy man

of course he multi tracked and mixed it really really well, but man. just wanted to link this killer demo for all those who are anxously awaiting thier axe.
 
yeah

i mean you won't get taht sound out of the box, gotta dig in, use custom IR's, and really great tracking and mixing, like anything, but I guess this is another example that it is possible to get killer results using this.
 
Yeah that sounds really great!!

Does it include it's own IRs?? Because you should experiment with the ones from the Sneap forum as well. Specifically the GuitarHack impulses. His sound amazing.

Whatever the guy used there sounds amazing too though!

Axe Fx is one of, if not THE best tool I have ever owned for guitar tones. Killer piece of gear :rock:


Whoever noted above that I may be selling mine, I did sell it to offset some of the cost of the MOD50 I just bought.

However, My name will be up on the list for my second Axe in a few weeks tops. Won't be without one for long ;)
