B-52 ST-100A 100W All-Tube Amplifier Head W/ Cab 4x12

i got this amp three ago, i got it from a Guitarcenter down here in FL. If my memory serves me right i bought the Cab And head for about $600. I have always wanted a marshal but could not afford one at the time, being as i was about 18.

i was wondering if i got my $$$$$ worth out of this buy? I love the amp! I think it looks great. it seems to suit my playing style but i wanted to beef it up some more right now, tube wise, it has:

4 x 6L6
5 x 12AX7
1 x 12AT7
1 x 5AR4

i do not know much about tubes, and i was wonder if i can get any for some more low end and crunch??? am i better of getting like a line 6 floor pod??? and play it threw the clean channel ?? would it be as easy as just changing tubes? or does each amp just have its own sound and need to seek an other amp?

Anyone play this amp or own one have anything to say about it?

I am sorry for all these questions, and it being a tad bit sloppy, but i really have no good ways of finding out. All the good guitar stores are a good hour drive from my house and google.com has only gotten me so far

They're alright, I like the AT-100 a bit better, but whatever. Not bad amps, I thought I read they had some reliability issues...

If you like it that's all that really matters.

Try an eq in the loop to tighten, boost the low end.

If I remember right, Bruce Egnater designed that amp line.
