Back at playing again...but damn tubes

Guys (maybe some woman to)

These past 4 years i have kept going back and forword playing the guitar. Finally i have started again and im enjoying playing again so much!

The Herbert, i instantly see/hear why i choose this amp
Yes i have the Herbert, but im on ch. 1 most of the time and im enjoying lower gain sounds and this amp is good at it!

Its been so long, but i get a sound of air moving trough my speaker, i forgot but is that a sighn of a power tube or a preamp tube problem?

Not sure I know what you mean. Like hiss? Or squealing?

1. Its a sort of air crackling sounds sometimes. If im not mistaken its a power amp tube but im not sure.
2. Also their is a big difference in volume between ch.1 and ch.2 now.

I have bwteen 20 and 30 power tubes in a box, ill get them tested soon and use the good pairs.
The volume difference between the 2 channels might be a preamp tube failing.
