First off killer playing, that was awesome!

More importantly, what in the living heck is that pick grip lol?!

It looks like you’re holding with your middle finger but at times it looked like you’re barely holding it and the pick might be floating in mid air lol

And the fluidity of motion in your wrist is badass, I could feel how loose and unstrained your picking hand is through the video!

Thx a lot!
Yeah looks like a weird technique haha - I am used to play like that. I hold the pick with the middle finger and the index is just there for more control sometimes. In the end there is no rule I think how to play fast and fluently - just hours of practice.

Dude I wasn’t trying to say it’s wrong at all, it’s terrific! Did someone tell you to play that way or you just came up with it on your own?

Hetfield plays that way too with incorporating his middle finger!

I understood it correctly - just wanted to explain it a little more! :-)
I just started playing like that. I think Van Halen used to hold the pick with three fingers as well. Did not know about Hetfield!

Very cool man, I’m gonna use your vid to learn this solo. Love how fluid your picking hand is! That’s a big goal of mine to get that fluid with my picking!!
