Any love for BC Rich here ? I have an old Koa Mockingbird and a completely f'd up Ironbird I bought as a "project" , both neck through...LOVE old N/T Rich's...thoughts ?

I love old BC rich Mocks and Biches. I have a couple imports, Special X and SL. I hate the space shuttle launch controls on them...way too many knobs ans switched.

I really want a Warlock like Craig Goldie's white one from Guiffria and early Dio with a Floyd Rose and their 6 on a side strat style headstock with the "R" on it. I don't mind the coil taps, phase reverse and preamp switches...I could do without the varitone though.

Big fan of neck thru BCR here.

I have an ST bird and a Jr V dlx, both high end imports and the best guitars I've ever played that cost under a grand.

I plan to start collecting USA BCR guitars, that "R" on the headstock is so cool.

I had several of them thru the years. To me this was the most METAL GUITAR ever after seeing this movie back when I was junior high.

Had a nice neck thru USA Stealth that was awesome. Blue with maple fret board. Wish I would of kept it.

Big fan. I have a handcrafted Mockingbird SL. This is the "Slash" model with the red transparent finish, Floyd and partial active electronics.

Expensive damn guitar but very cool.

Also have an early 90s USA ST3 in blue snakeskin finish, lol. Heck of a super strat.

I love the mockingbird, the stealth and the ignitor. The only guitar that BCR has put out in recent years that I have liked is the Matt Tuck sig model or the Mark Rizzo sig. I am not a fan of his music but thats a cool guitar forsure. I'm not sure why they wouldn't mass produce the ignitor body shape over some of the other crap designs they have in their lines these days.

Big BC RICH fan here. Especially the Bich and Mockingbird. I've had many over the years, and I love them. I picked up a BC RICO Mockingbird a few months ago and it kills. The RICO'S were a short run that were made in Japan between '78-'82. The quality is outstanding. Just as good as the American models from back then, for less than half the price. If you get the chance to pick one up, don't hesitate. I HIGHLY recommend them. Here's some porn of mine....

One of my first guitar teachers had an Eagle, cool guitar.
I always dug seeing Joe Perry with his red Bich and the Mockingbird, Brad too.

I agree, the mockingbird and Ignitor is where it's at for me. I also wish the Ignitor shape would be used outside of the custom shop, but whatever. keep making fugly shapes like the bitch and beast.

Have an early 90's Mockingbird. Didn't pay a lot for it, but it's cool to have around for 80's hair metal fun.

You think the Bich is ugly and the Ignitor is cool ? I'm just the opposite. I have an older NJ neck through Mockingbird that was a nasty metallic blue-ish/purple that I stripped down to the raw mahogany and just left it like that, no active electronics.

Yes. I think the Bitch is one of the ugliest shapes every mass produced by any manu, and I think the Ignitor is super cool. Ever since seeing the "Iced Earth, Alive in Athen" dvd.

To each their own...I love Joe Perry's Bich, I'd KILL FOR AN OLD 70S OR EARLY 80S 10 STRING...

Agreed. I think the Ignitor is an abomination. The Bich on the other hand, has beautiful curves to it IMO. It's got the curves of a woman with devil horns at the top. It also hangs very comfortably from a strap while standing and playing.

Love them , wish I could find an NJ warlock like my first guitar.

They have watered down the line so much these days it's impossible to get a good guitar...
Yep, CL is just littered with junk bottom of the barrel $100 BCR's. Hard enough to find a decent high end import, let alone an actual USA BCR.

I dig them. I had a neck through mockingbird with quad bridge , big r logo, Grover imperials, and dimarzios. It was perfectly made without any blems or flaws, the woods used were beautiful. I had to sell it years back but I miss it. Would like to find the slash model mockingbird in grand red.
