I have an Einstein 1x12 combo with the stock V30. But I also have a Scumback BM75 65 watt that I tired. I think for modern high-gain I prefer the V30. But like the BM75 a lot and would like to be able to use it without having to swap speakers. So I figured a 1x12 would be nice. Not sure if I want open or closed back.

But what are the options out there? Diezel, Bogner, etc.?

I use FL 2x12 w/ G12-65's and for me it covers just about all styles very well, from classic rock to modern and can even pull off some br00tz. If your adding a 1x12 to your combo the 65 is a great mix with V30's.

I also use a FL 1x12 with a Eminence Delta Pro A at home and at some samller gigs. Sounds great when you give it some volume, very even and true sounding but when I turn it up it seems like it's yelling at me. As far as cabs I've never used a Diezel 1x12 but that would probably be first choice as far as cabs go  Bogner cube and Suhrs 1x12 are also good choices.

The speaker I'll be using is a Scumback BM75. I have a 4x12 with G12-65s which is great. But at low volumes G12-65s are muddy and fizzy. I have a line on a Diezel 1x12. So I think I'll be good. Bogner has a a bunch of 1x12 choices, though (open back, closed back, oversized, tall, short, wide, thin, etc.). Wish there were a place to actually try them out, though.
