Hey folks,
I used to own a bogner Uberkab with a Mesa traditional cab.
The uberschall Rev2 sounded the best with the uberkab obviously.
I would like to try something else. Like Orange cab? Marshall cab with G12T75 speakers? I tried that cab today with a Diezel D moll it sounded AMAZING!!! way better then the orange cab.
What do you guys suggest best cab for an uberschall Rev2 ?
Thanks!!!

I've had several Ubers, I've owned a DMoll and they are both different in terms of what cabs they like. I used to have a Rev 2 running through an Orange 4x12 with V30 and it was a fantastic combo. I currently have a Rev Blue and have both the V30 Bogner and Front Loaded Uberkab. Some guys don't dig the G12k-75 but I like em. I run my Mesa Triple Rec into that cab and it sounds HUGE! I wanna put 2 greenie variant speakers in my V30 cab for a different grind...or maybe even another Orange 4x12.

Go with whatever sounds good to your ears. Mesa Traditional 4x12 is also a good option for Uber

Hey bro, thanks for you suggestions.
I got a very good deal on a brand new Orange 4 12 cabinet in the box, Made in England and the USA for 749 shipped. market prices they go for $1099. I can chose between back, white or orange tolex .

I'd get white - ltd edition
I loved the Orange 4x12 with Rev 2 Uber...will be awesome, but I like a little sag to my tone, not too stiff and dry

SLOGriff on here had a Soldano cab that sounded pretty good with both of our Rev 2s. I think he had Scumbacks in there, but I could be totally wrong.

Of course, my favorite is the plain-old rear-loaded Uberkab with V30s and 75s.

I might get the orange or the mesa cabinet. will see... hope my uber rev2 will match the orange cab :)

My Soldano 4x12 has the "stock" Eminence Legends, sounds killer with the REV2. I bet the Orange 4x12 would sound great as well....but very heavy and NO casters!

This thread is making me consider getting another Orange 412 specifically for my Uber Rev Blue

You guys like Eminence? I had some Guv'nors in a Mills - they didn't seem to have much mojo

the legend are good. but very power full speakers it's a 120 watt each
I prefer x patt V30s and G12T75.

The only reason I'm using the Soldano 4x12 is because of my SLO's. I have a Bogner OS2x12 cab(for my Ecstasy) and the Soldano 4x12...I don't have enough room for another 4x12 in my apt, so the Soldano actually worked out well since I alreay had it. By the way, Leib10 brought his Bogner Ubercab to my office where we cranked the Bogner's. I believe we both thought that the Soldano cab sounded better than the Ubercab with the Rev2's.

here's a Rev Blue into a front loaded Uberkab, captured with a Zoom Q4

Sounds really good...

As I've written before, the Rev Blue was my least favorite Uberschall. Too bright and Marshall-y for my tastes, and it attempts to bridge the water between the Rev 2 and Twin Jet, but fails to keep the organic, dark, 3D tone of the former or the raw brutality of the latter.

That being said, I would imagine that it would cut decently well in a live mix due to its brighter, more upper-mid-emphasized tone. That would be a situation where it might have an advantage over the other two Ubers (moreso the Rev 2, which I've heard has trouble cutting through the mix in certain situations), but that's mere speculation on my part. I would imagine Channel 1 of the Twin Jet wouldn't have a problem either, especially if you crank the Master Presence.

I just got a brand new uber Rev blue with JJ EL34L power tubes, I LOVE it!! it's def tighter and a bit brighter then the Rev2. I have noticed that the Rev2 has an enormous bass response it's ridiculous. Leib10 was absolutely right.
I'm using my ubers with a Mesa cab. Sounds awesome but a new Uberkab is coming :)

I lust replaced 2 of the T75 in my Ubercab with Scumback J75 - all I can say is it's an improvement, wow

Nice!!! I'm in luv with my Rev blue. it does not have that enormous bass response like the Rev2. it's a tighter amp. what's next? lol

Sounds great, love seeing a metal grilled Uberschall and black diamond plate Rectifier together as well. :)
