OK, so here’s the deal…

I’ve got a remote band that is getting together for our first show on July 27 in Nashville. We’re playing 12 classic metal covers plus one original.

The Drummer we had lined up backed out due to scheduling conflicts, so I’m looking for a replacement. I’ve contacted every drummer I know, but for one reason or the other (i.e. scheduling conflicts/money), all of them have declined.

I’m having a difficult time finding a Drummer to fill-in.

My band is involved in the organizing of this festival that we are playing. It’s the first annual event, and nobody is getting paid. So basically we’re looking for someone willing to do it as a favor. We will need to rehearse every day for a few days prior to the show, since this will be our first time playing together in person.

Are there any good, active websites to look for one off hired guns? I guess I could post an ad on craigslist, but I was wondering if there’s anything else out there that is better?

I'll play for free. I am badass at the intro of "Blind" by Korn and I can do a pretty badass 4/4 beat, I only go about 15-19 bpm off tempo.

I’d be willing to pay out of pocket if the price is not too high. But one guy wanted $4- $5k. Yeah I can’t do that. I could probably swing $150- $200 but thats about it. Possibly more if the whole band chips in

One of my friends who’s in a local band was going to do it for free, but had a gig that night with his band I wasn’t aware of. So thats out
