Best Speakers for IE4

Hi All,

I'm pulling out my long-neglected Rocktron IE-4 (was always used as my backup rig) and making a small rack set-up for an awesome young guitarist to use until he can save up for a new amp (he has a Behringer modeler now). I was wondering if any of you gurus would have a recommendation for what speakers to use. I have two Mesa 1X12's laying around, both half-backs: one an oversized w/ a C90 and a normal-sized w/ a V30, that sound ok, but...

I have an opportunity to get a Marshall 1960B 4x12 w/ G12T-75's for REAL cheap. What do ya think? (Before I drive the 100 miles to try it out lol)

Set-up will be guitar > whatever pedals he has > IE4 > G-Major > Mesa 20/20 w/ Fat mod > speakers.

Any thoughts, recommendations would be most appreciated!

IE4 + G12T75's = sex.

Perfect. The thick mids, and subdued treble of the IE4 meshes PERFECTLY with 75's.

Ran a rig just like that for a long time. Same preamp, same power amp. I used a Marshall 2X12 with two Boogie Celestion 90's in it. I thought it sounded great.
