I am drawing a bank trying to bias my Mod 50. It's been a while and I am biasing EL34s.

I am drawing a blank on the multimeter.

It is a $25 Radio Shack multimeter. I have the black banana plug in the black ground jack and the red banana plug/wire in the Vma jack.

On the dial I was using DCV 200m to test the bias. Is this correct?

(1) Set the meter for DC millivolts.

(2) Insert the black lead into the panel hole labeled COMMON.

(3) Insert the red lead into TUBE 1 or 2.

(4) For EL34 tubes set bias about 33 millivolts.

Thanks, I was more concerned where to set the dial on the multimeter. LOL....

I tend to like em at about 35-40 for EL34s but tastes vary.
