Biasing Einstein

Does the Einstein have AC or DC heaters? And does it have the 1ohm resistor to ground so you can check bias with a meter or do you have to use the shunt method? Or can I use something like a bias rite or other socket adapter? But if it has DC heaters, I don't think you can use an adapter.

Usually, on Marshall-type amps there's a 1ohm resistor to ground on the tube sockets. So you can just measure your bias there with any meter. But some amps don't have this.

Ah, I didn't know it had external test points.

Picking up an Einstein Combo on Saturday. So haven't had a chance to look the chassis to see.

Ahhh that makes ALOT more sense. I thought you had one already.
I baised mine with a quad of 77's. It was the first amp I've ever biased and it was stupid easy.
