I just changed tubes in my Einstien, JJ KT-77s in the inners and winged C EL-34s in the outters, can someone please give me the correct bias for each? Also has anyone else tried this combination and if so what was the result? Thanks Kevin

Haven't tried the combination, so please let me know how it works out! Biassing KT77's is (as far as I know) the same as EL34. Diezel website (Tech Corner) states biassing between 60 and 70 mA.

Rock on!

I am really enjoying the new tubes, I already loved the sound of the winged-Cs and the KT-77 add more punch and authority. Suites my style just right.

I am running the KT-77s at 85ma and the winged C EL-34s at 73ma besides shortning the tube life is there any other negetive effects of running the bias hotter than the recommended ma?

Other then damaging your amp I can't think of any...

You are WAY too hot.

The SEDs can usually handle a bit hotter bias, but I wouldn't push the KT-77s that hard...
