yeah thats more than im willing to pay for most any guitar, im plenty happy with my import for 10% of that amount though :ROFLMAO:

U must be high af...IF it was the Friedman I thought I would see when I opened this post I would say it was steal but for a USA select KE2? I guess u had nothing else to spend $4k on....

Haha there you go. Stuff has gotten crazy, man. Brandon Ellis Kelly is 1350 made in China and you don’t even get a case with it! Seems like the indonesian and China manufactured guitars are getting close to the 1500 dollar range. If you want Korean build 1500-2200 no hard case. Japanese built fetching 2200-3600 seen with the new ESP E-iis. And don’t kid yourself people are buying them left and Right. American built are demanding 4000 up for a standard built model across the board. Not even a custom. Just nuts.

I think amps are the better value currently, unless you’re seeking out rare vintage stuff, which in that case I think people are insane paying what they’re paying.
 
The confusion comes from your link going to a general Reverb.com Kelly listings page, not the Agent Orange if that was the one you got. That was a good deal if so.

Thanks for the heads up. Interesting it was going to the general listings on this and when I clicked it went to the actual listing. Posted with a picture now.
 
Since when Jackson usa used are getting back to what the normal price was...
 
Great price for a USA Kelly, would have snagged it if I had seen it!

Yeah man, was stoked on this one. Seeing as the year of production it was 2900 new before taxes. From my understanding this was the last year before jackson changed their USA shop pricing. In 2012 Jackson switched almost all of their custom selects with the exception of a few to being custom shops… ( they used to actually offer all the different colors without it being classified as a custom shop for the same price almost; within like a 300 dollar range; even included if you wanted pinstripes ghost flames, bengal; etc). After that they switched to the three color scheme black, white, and transparent black. Now just down to white and black. Ugh.
 
Nice, they're hard to find for anywhere near that these days.
