black comet as new standard tolex?

heared from my local "drug"-dealer that the black comet tolex as used for the new international line will be the new standard tolex for all amps except the uberschall!?!?!? anyone know more?

I'm really used to the old black/wheat look, it's the bogner face for me...
there is something about the black comet/salt&pepper but I can't really kick myself to like it, especially with the bigger gear...

does anyone know if the old standard black/wheat will be still available?

I think I'm one of the few that likes the new "cowgirl" tolex.

I really hate the standard bumpy looking tolex that most companies use. To me, it's the equivalent of popcorn textured ceilings. It just looks generic and cheap. (Mesa has nice, quality tolex choices FWIW)

The new pattern doesn't really fit the style of all amps in the Bogner line IMO, but I think it looks pretty cool on the XTC with the new grill.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I really like the "comet" tolex/S+P grill combo.

It is growing on me, I think I am starting to dig it, and it is not the standard black blah tolex most all cabinets have.
