Been listening to this non-stop the last month. Just a killer album all the way through. These guys are the best contemporary hard rock band going today. Glad to see Joe Bonamassa and Glenn Hughes patch things up after everything fell apart during 3. The energy was totally off on that album, and on 4 it sounds like everyone is just hitting on all cylinders and just happy to make music together again and it really shows.

Interesting to see Joe Bonamassa rocking Strats and Tele’s and Fender amps again. Gives the music a new character.

This song is probably one of the best he’s ever done.

I heard that song recently and was blown away. I know one of the songs on the album was supposed to be just a solo album song but he brought it into BCC and so great he did. When you hear those vocals together it just elevates the song.

I keep trying. I listen here and there a few times a week.
It hasn’t done anything for me.

I dig seeing JB performing live and I like him on a few songs on some of his CD’s. But I have to say his voice seems to be more “natural” and stronger with the more rock’n and less classic blues stuff. I also feel that he is finding and improving/refining his “Rock” voice. It’s as if someone is coaching him to sing to his strengths.

Killer song!

That solo on "Sway" is just amazing! Man what a great sounding record!

Agreed.

Only criticism I have of the BC releases are that they should stick to Glenn singing on all tracks. My preference. Not a fan of the JB solo like overlays onto this band format.

The only problem I have is that they don't really tour and make it a band. Understandable given Joe's solo career but still...

8 minutes?
His voice is much better and he does indeed handle the solo, but the other 7 minutes was whatever for me. The lyrics and mandolin sent me straight the The Tap.
