Hey all,

I just got in my quad of these Black Sable EL34's Winged =C= SED's, they are totally different sounding from any other EL34 I've tried, I'm guessing because the cryo treatment. They have a really smooth high end, seem to have an extended bass range, and a fantastic warm crunchy grinding mid that isn't to brittle or harsh. Sometimes I feel like a lot of modern El34's almost have this ripping or tearing sound rather than a crunching sound, these break up great and wow... they even play really smooth very dynamic!

I highly recommend these so far I'll keep up with more updates as I get used to them!

They better be that way much better because they cost almost double than a normal SED SVEL34... !!! $85 the pair... pufff, that's a good amount of money to put in a Herbert :P...

Maybe someday ;)...

They are considerably more expensive but not the end of the world. It's about $100 for a normal quad, and these were about $180 after shipping over night and all, honestly the reason I went for them is the reliability is supposed to be a lot better... the better sounding part is just an added bonus :)
