Picked up one Saturday and gee.....amazing little practice amp. The Super Wide Stereo on the delay makes it seem like the sound is coming from a different part of the room. I don't want to turn this little thing off.
Important info on Blackstar .. ever since they merged or were bought by Korg, their customer service is basically non existent. We got guys waiting months to get one part replaced.
FYI
Jerry, People actually repair Blackstar? I thought you just threw them out and bought another. I had the ID Core 20. It's ok but it's basically the same OD sound with different levels of gain. Tired my ears out pretty quick. It's a good alternative if you can't afford the Yamaha THR10. The Yamaha smokes it though. i just got the Blackstar Fly 3 which is a pretty cool battery powered micro amp.

I recently dealt with them via customer service (email) and they went above and beyond the call of duty. I spoke to the manager of the technical side, and then he asked questions directly to the designers for me. It shocked me because they have a reputation for being poor, but my experience was very positive.
edit - I owned Yamaha THR10 and sold it but kept the Blackstar amp I have. I'm converting it from a combo to a head, adding a choke, new output transformer and other mods. I guess my point is.. experience things first hand and don't always believe what you see or read from others. It's okay to respect others opinions but you also have to experience things for yourself. On another note.. Randall customer support sucks balls.
