Bluesy sounding module?

I have an SL that I like but I want a tone that gives me a more compressed bluesy tone. My Super Sonic does this very well on the burn channel. What module does this well?

I may be open to trades.

The BMan does a nice blues tone. I imagine others will recommend the COD.....

People are going to recommend the COD, but I would say something like the VX or D/D with an OD pedal.

I agree. Dialed back, the VX can deliver the goods as well.

I've got a Bman with "X" specs, done for aeroic by rockstarnick, and it does the sound you describe very well. Similar to the SL, (have that one too) but more compressed. I'll try to get some clips of it, and the rest of the rig, soon, to give you an idea of what it's like.

That's what I'm looking for. That compressed narrow bandwidth sound that brings out the hoot in a strat. The BMAN clip in the clip section sounds really nice. The SL sounds good with a Strat but I like it a little better with humbuckers.

I look forward to hearing your clips.

I am dying to try the VX module (well not really 'dying') but I use the BMan mdl with a tubescreamer... even w/o the screamer it is very good for blues. I like it with single coils as I like more bell tone for blues.

BB preamp w/ a DLX is one of my favorites...as well as a SL2X ChA at lower gain.
