Interlude number 2

Here is another interlude section that pretty much wraps up my project writing over Marco Minnemann’s 52-minute drum solo. This brief interlude transitions between the track “Three Trains to Tennessee” that features Chris Taylor (you can hear the conclusion of his passage at the beginning of the clip); then it goes into the interlude; then into the next full tune “Midget Magi and Bearded Hippo” (you can hear the first few lines with the banjo and bass entering).

Gear: Goodall concert steel, Gretsch 6120, Tonfreak Mello Trem; Egnater B’Man in MOD 50.

You can download Marco’s solo called Normalizer 2:

Its sounds great John, excellent playing and tones.. actually it reminded me a bit of my Badger..

Thanks Konstantine, it is up to the label and the other guys now - particularaly Mike Keneally - to finish when he gets back form the Deathclok tour in a few weeks. When Mike and I finish his album, we will then release all the composers versions as a big group release box set and also as single CDs for each composer: Marco Minnemann, Mike Keneally, Alex Machacek, myself and one or two others.

Beautiful as always John. Bman is a must have for sure and that clip shows why.

thanks Morgan, yeah, the B'man is a color that none of the otehr modules really cover. The B'man is great alone and just as pedal friendly as the actual Bassman. We had a fantastic Bassman in my highschool jazz band that I'll never forget - this one reminds me of it, but more mid focus. Ours was a loose, sloppy _____. :aww:

Thats one of the reasons I love the Bman so much, you can hit in the face with a good boost and get that thing just down right heavy. Ive gotta check out this BB preamp for that.

John,
That sounds great! That piece must be a major undertaking!
Love the banjo at the end of the clip.

Thank you Eddie,

Remember this is just a little segue inbetween two full sections, so the thing with the banjo is the start of the tune, "Midget Magi and Bearded Hippo" which is full of obscene rhythms and suggestive harmony.
