Bogner 20th XTC gut shots?

anyone have pictures of the board on the 20th xtc? It comes stk with Sozo caps right?
 
Sozo's are used for coupling, Mojo Dijon's for tone caps (tone stack) and Mallory 150's for PI caps and as 100nF cap in clean tone stack.

Thanks setneck- Do you have a 20th? I just was luck enough to buy a 20th xtc. Can't wait to get it. Don't no why there's no pictures showing the guts? Lovin my 101b but have always wanted to try the 20th.
 
No, I don't have 20th Ann, mine amp is "regular" 101B.

So, when You'd buy it I hope You'll post detailed pics of it :)

did you buy the one from guitar center used for 2199 yesterday! I was going to order it today to give it a shot before I commit to Suhr lol. Love gc's return policy lol
 
$2199 for a 20th xtc? that's a steal! Is it sold? :doh: which Suhr are you going to get
 
yea,literally sold in a day. It was up yesterday on the used site,had just come in as I check used religiously every morning with my morning coffee. Gone this morning. I knew I should have moved on it yesterday. I want to try one of the od100se+
 
That price had to be a mistake? I had the pt-100 and it was nice but I like the xtc best (i have the 101b ) a lot better. I'm a classic rock blues guy so I think the xtc is my thing(love the sound and feel) The other thing about the pt-100 is it was hard to get a good low volume sound (it was a loud amp) can't go wrong with Suhr, he makes kick ass stuff :rock:
 
Im also thinking maybe trying a bogner xtc. Looks like they get nothing but great reviews. Plus Ive watched some low volume demos and it looks like it still retains great tone.
 
yea with the excursion set to tight I can get great low volume playing at my house. I hate attenuators spent tons on them - never works out IMHO. I love the feel of the bogner as much as the tone. also the xtc moves from clean to blue to red seemlessly. I find other channel swichers have a hard time with that. With the suhr I missed that sound inbetween clean and crunch. Sorry Xtc fanboy

Yes i have shots of the board. I didn't want to turn it on without checking everything. The board is very different. at this point I'll be selling the 101b very happy with the 20th :rock:

Upload the photo's to a free hosting site (image shack, photo bucket, etc.) and then post the pics using the img button (where you paste in the direct url between the img tags). :)

thought I add the filtering info- had some people ask

4 ea 50uf – 500 volts outside on the chassis
4ea 56uf –500 volts on the circuit board
1ea 10uf – 450 volts on the circuit board
1ea 15000uf – 25 volts circuit board
1ea 4700uf – 25 volts circuit board
 
yea as you know I was a little disappointed in that. To make this right bogner needs to make a new circuit board for the 20th and that ain't happening.
