Bogner Blue and Bogner red pedal..straight into a Poweramp?

Could you do this as a back up amp? or even a main amp?

Anyone tried...

I have the Blue and Red coming any day now...

I've used a Red into a EH .44 and it was surprisingly good. It's not really a power amp but I've been wonder about using it with a real power amp.

Would love to run em thru my vht 2150 or classic and see what happens but still have to buy the pedals yet.lol

I used the Red pedal in a direct to mixer application. Didn't sound natural at all until I used a D.I. and cab sim. I went with a Redeye Dee-Eye and the Redbox Classic, because I got them used on the cheap. Worked surprisingly well, though it was a pain, because I needed phantom power for both the Dee Eye and Redbox. Signal path:

Guitar->Dee Eye->Mixer channel 1 9 (muted), with the pedalboard in loop of Dee Eye. Had to use an Insert cable from mixer channel 1 preamp->Redbox->Mixer channel 2 as usual

I haven't tried the Bogner Red in the loop of the XTC, because I don't need it with that amp. I usually use it in front of my Super Reverb, with darn good results. Hope this helps someone.

I tried but I think they sound much better into the clean channel of any of my amps!

Me too. Even though it is more like a preamp than a pedal, there is bound to be some kind of impedance or level issue that makes putting it in the loop less than optimal. I'll give it a shot the next chance I get on my 101b and report back.
