Got the red pedal in and gave it a workout. These things are in another realm of pedals. SO REAL and life-like. I'll have some review info in a day or so, but this youtube vid demonstrates very well how close the pedal gets to my real Ecstasy red channel. I just cut a simple riff on each device and merged them together morphing between the real amp and the pedal.

The pedal was played through a Bogner Barcelona combo with a Scumback J75LHDC speaker. To keep things accurate, I ran my Ecstasy amp through the same speaker. Controls were set as seen in the photos, and a touch of Softube/Summit EQF-100 EQ was added to brighten it up.

It is too short but I didn't intend to do a video clip originally...that was just a quick test clip I did right after hooking up the pedal, but it was so damn close to the amp tone, I had to present it.

I've worked with the pedal a lot today and learned a lot more about it. These are deep and versatile boxes. I'm working on a full band production demo featuring the Red into a Super Champ XD. I wanted to showcase the pedal into something affordable that a lot of people have. It should be up tomorrow.

Nice.

Do you have the opportunity to use the pedal with a non-Bogner amp, say a clean Fender or something, for comparison?

Good timing on your request Richard - here is a little full production demo with the Ecstasy RED into a stock Fender Super Champ XD. All guitars were done with various settings of the RED pedal. There are several tones from the pedal represented...light crunch, scooped hi-gain, and a mid boosted lead with the variac on. The amp was at a super low volume.

I used the pedal live tonight and it's amazing...but that shouldn't be a surprise. I'm telling ya'll that Reinhold has raised the bar on pedals. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, can top these for true amp-like behavior and satisfaction when doing pedal-rig gigs.

Lead sounded fantastic. Player might have had something to do with that. Nice!
