Bogner Goldfinger!?

Any news on this badboy? There has been a dead link for it on the product page of the Bogner site for awhile now. I know things always take awhile to get rolling from Reinhold, him being a perfectionist and all but I haven't heard word about the amps in awhile.

P/S It seems some Euro websites actually have some tentative pricing for the amps already as well.
 
I liked the movie.
I wonder how this would sound with a Friedman Brown Eye.
 
Soundwise anybody have an idea what they are aiming at with this amp?
 
There is one Goldfinger 45 head with matching 2x12 cab in Musik Schmidt in Frankfurt :)

I have tested it briefly 2 weeks ago. It was really 10 min maybe,
but I like the first channel a lot. Second one was somehow tricky to set,
but it had definitely the potential :)

According to a guy from the shop, Bogner has some problems with ROHS approval or something,
that's why they woun't get the new one

The head is 2200EUR:

Someone on TGP already has a head and 2x12 cab but aside from that I've seen nothing on them - is it really an ROHS compliance issue?

I always wondered what happened to that amp, seemed to drop right off the radar after the NAMM debut. :lol: :LOL:

It's been Vaporware for going on two years now......not the first time for Bogner after a NAMM "debut", but we will finally have a head and matching 212 cab en route as of this coming Monday. I wasn't at Winter NAMM 2009 (I've boycotted NAMM since Summer '99) so I haven't seen or played this amp in person, but will surely be writing a review in about a week and if I like it..........will be posting clips shortly thereafter.

i have always loved that clip. i was thinking about this amplifier just the other day.

might have to drive to stu's shop to check it out in person. definately a great sounding beast, i heard alot of promising tones from the short clip of the knob turning and your playing :rock:
 
I have a head w/matching 2x12 cab incoming from Fat Sound. Will report back on I have her.

Hey man, how's it going? I went in for another session w/Mike's most recent class, had a blast. U done with school yet?
